N7CVR is the owner and admin.
Develop a high quality DMR C-Bridge network across Idaho. Expand coverage in cooperation with the PNW Digital Group. Develop and continually improve DMR communications.
This system is available for licensed amateur use in accordance with this site's guidelines. Users who do not comply will be added to the ignore list.
Understand that a DMR system can accommodate two simultaneous conversations. One on Time Slot 1 on one talk group at a time, and one on Time Slot 2 on one talk group at a time. Using the system this way is good amateur radio practice and provides for an enjoyable DMR experience for all users of the system.
When the system was installed there was pushback because some users did not wish to follow usage guidelines so subsequently the system was listed as closed. System is open as long as users comply with operating rules as outlined on this site.
A good additional source for repeater information is https://www.idahoarrl.info/repeaters2.html
Not officially. There are many other analog systems throughout our region that support these operations including Idaho ARES DMR.
We are affiliated with Blaine County due to our long-standing relationship with them via the Wood River Amateur Radio Club and the Blaine County Sheriff's Department.
We do carry a couple of EmComm related Nets and more will be added in the future. N7CVR DMR is available for emergency communications support, but public service agencies prefer to use their P25 and related linked systems. All N7CVR DMR operators are encouraged to take FEMA IS-100, IS-200, IS-700 and IS-800 emergency communications courses so in the event amateur radio EmComm support is needed operators using this system will have completed some training.
Amateurs who complete this initial basic training will be listed in the members only EmComm section of this site.

Are you open to peering with other networks? Yes, subject to cooperative agreements between C-Bridge admins.
Yes. However, any talk group you are using will not be routed across the network.
Not at this time.
No. Roaming requires advanced programming and all Motorola equipment.
Yes! Net check-ins are encouraged! Check the Nets page!
Note: To my knowledge there isn't a weekly DMR net originating in Idaho. Let me know if there is any interest.
The repeater system has excellent coverage throughout the Boise/Southwest Idaho area. You should not use a Hotspot when you are in the RF Coverage area. Remote MMDVM access to N7CVR DMR C-Bridge is available on a case-by-case basis. Open Spot 4 is supported. Contact N7CVR for information.
Downtown Boise is terrain blocked from Squaw Butte but does work with a mobile from some areas in downtown Boise. WA7GSK has an excellent BrandMeister DMR repeater on Table Rock which blankets
the downtown area of Boise well. Was off BrandMeister for about 6 months but confirmed back on BrandMeister about May 10, 2024.
No system like this could be designed and built without the help and support of others.
